The Christmas lunch yesterday (Sun 11 Dec) was well attended and enjoyed by everyone. Our thanks to Petra and Maria in the kitchen and Dave and Brian behind the bar, and the helpers from café/bar Cortado in Javea (and of course our Social Director Denise).
During the meal Jack arranged his usual picture quiz and then three rounds of questions, with good hearted banter between the question master and the teams. After this, Mal and Jack were thanked for their longstanding commitment on the Board of Directors and presented with a liquid token of appreciation as they were standing down from the Board.
Christmas pudding came after the quiz, and then we all relaxed to some Christmas favourites performed by Steve and Pat; the tempo then changed and an impromptu dancefloor was cleared so that people could work off some energy after the delicious lunch by dancing to more music from Steve and Pat.
Ladies danced around a handbag and eventually some gents just danced!
