Introduction

Having become more involved in the club since I became a bowler, I have been asked to take on the role of Almoner again.
If you know anyone that needs help or support please let me know, remember I am here to help and point you in the right direction.
Please note that I only put information about members on the website when they have given me their permission.

As a club we are fortunate to have  defibrillator which is kept in the Library above the refrigerator.

Sad News

26th July 2021

SAM HUGHES

Many of you will remember Sam and Judy Hughes before they moved back to Wales a couple of years ago due to ill health.

Jacquie Roberts has just passed on the sad news that Sam died on 22nd July 2021 following a massive heart attack.

Our thoughts and condolences are with Judy and her family.

Almoner Update

22 July 2021

John Ranger

Having spoken to Wendy today, John has made an excellent recovery after knee surgery on Monday (19/7)  and is making good progress albeit ‘a bit painful’.

He’s in good spirits and looking forward to returning to bowls at the club in due course. We wish him well!

June 2021
Well this current situation is not doing us any favours, and it is difficult to keep in touch with members who are not visiting the club as often during the COVID-19 crisis and as a result of BREXT restrictions.
Please let me know if you have concerns for any member who doesn’t visit the club regularly.

I will continue to give updates about members when I have their permission.
