Having become more involved in the club since I became a bowler, I have been asked to take on the role of Almoner again.
If you know anyone that needs help or support please let me know, remember I am here to help and point you in the right direction.
Please note that I only put information about members on the website when they have given me their permission.
As a club we are fortunate to have defibrillator which is kept in the Library above the refrigerator.

It is with great sadness that I must inform you that Carol passed away, surrounded by family, in the early hours of Tue 17th May 2022 following her hospital admission two weeks ago.
Carol joined the club in August 2004 at the time as her husband John, who has continued to bowl until recently.
Our heartfelt thoughts and condolences are with the family at this sad time.
The funeral will take place at Javea Crematorium at 12 noon on Friday 20th May, and afterwards at Benitachell Bowls Club.
All are welcome to attend and remember Carol.
It was good to see Denise back at the Whist Night last week; Denise continues to make progress and looks forward to getting back bowling in the near future.
As several members are aware Pat has recently spent several weeks in Denia Hospital, and I am pleased to say that she in now home. Her condition continues to improve albeit slowly, and we look forward to possibly seeing Pat in the clubhouse for coffee after a club morning.
Our thoughts and best wishes are with all our members who are not currently at full strength.

Well the current situation is improving, but it is still difficult to keep in touch with members who have not visited the club as often during the COVID-19 crisis and as a result of BREXT restrictions.
Please let me know if you have concerns for any member who doesn’t visit the club regularly.
I will continue to give updates about members when I have their permission.
